Our studio is fully equipped with high-quality Merrithew Reformers, Pilates Chairs, and Barrel, accompanied by an extensive selection of accessories and props. These tools allow us to create a dynamic and enjoyable experience while offering support and challenges tailored to your needs.

As a boutique studio, we embrace our intimate setting. Our group classes have a maximum of 14 participants, guaranteeing you an exceptional workout and personalized attention from our experienced instructors. Additionally, we provide small group sessions accommodating only three individuals per class, as well as private sessions. These options allow for a deeper exploration of your practice, understanding your body’s unique requirements, and creating a more tailored and personalized environment. They are particularly ideal for members with injuries, specific conditions, limitations, or those with targeted goals that necessitate individualized planning.

Our Instructors

Luda

(Lucy) is a certified Stott Pilates Mat and Reformer Instructor, active teacher for over 15 years. She found the healing power of Pilates following a back injury. Regular Reformer Pilates workouts helped with her lower back pain and the overall strength and flexibility of whole body. Luda's passion is helping people get strong by following the Pilates principles, so they can achieve their goals, whether they are new to Pilates or working on advanced movement.

Anat

Anat Sasson is a certified reformer and mat instructor with experience in the fitness and wellness field spanning for over 3 decades. She holds numerous certificates in specialized pilates workouts and frequently travels internationally for pilates workshops. Anat's practice is based on the classical pilates method yet she adds her unique and dynamic artistry to her work. She shares the philosophy that "Pilates is complete coordination of body, mind and spirit". Each of her classes evolves from the last due to her creativity and innovation. Her classes are challenging, motivating and stimulating. If you have the opportunity to take her class, get ready, you are in for a very rewarding pilates workout!

Michelle

Michelle is a certified, passionate personal trainer group fitness instructor, mat Pilates / reformer, barre instructor and yoga teacher. In addition , Michelle is a licensed Physiotherapist ( from Israel ) with an expertise in the elderly population focusing on balance, mobility and stability. Michelle translates her essential skills and love of helping others into fun and safe classes. A proud mother of 2, she enjoys her coffee, nature and meaningful movement.

Mahsa

Mahsa has been in the fitness industry for over 6 years and has been doing pilates reformer for over the past 2 years. Her style is classical with a mix of her own style in the reformer. If you ever attend her classes, you will see how she drains you down. Mahsa loves what she is doing, and she has her own style of training with the reformer.

Yolanda

Yolanda Avid dancer, music lover and part-time cafe hopper, I've always been passionate about health and fitness.

While I've experimented with every other fitness options on the market, I fell in love with the results I got from Pilates, both the physical improvements and mental gratification. | decided to pursue a career which I'm truly passionate about. I trained with Body Harmonics for mat and Merrithew Stott for my reformer certification.

Tina

She is a new owner and manager of Wicked barre studio. She is a business woman and Pilates lover. She has been doing Pilates for over 5 years and finally decided to own her own studio to be able to share the love of pilates with others. You will see Tina with her big smile always. Tina would love to bring more people to the studio and to make wicked barre Thornhills Pilates and yoga community centre.
